COVID-19 Statement
CV-19 Statement Update
Published: 1st July 2020
At Engage Business Media our colleagues, customers and communities are at the heart of everything we do.
Therefore, and as a result of the rapidly evolving Covid-19 situation, and with the attendant recommendations of the WHO and the Government, we are taking a number of important actions that prioritise those concerns.
As the situation has continued to evolve, we are continually listening to the concerns of all our stakeholders. The wellbeing of our event delegates, speakers, sponsors, partners, and staff is of course of the utmost importance.
We have therefore made the very difficult decision to reschedule some of our Conferences and Annual Awards whilst also pivoting them to new exciting ‘Studio Style’ Virtual events for 2020. Rest assured these moves are designed to ensure our leading-edge, world-class business events will be bigger and better than ever.
We have significantly invested in the business employing what we feel is a ‘best in class’ Virtual first event platform and streaming service, as well as a purpose built Engage Business Media studio and leading edge virtual networking and datapoint driven delegate insight tools, all we feel ensures we continue to provide hugely engaging interactive conferences and industry leading experiences for all those involved.
Our revised 2020 Virtual events calendar include:
- Internal Communications Conference (September 17 & 18)
- Customer Engagement Transformation Conference (September 24 & 25)
- CX Marketing Summit (October 8 & 9)
- Employee Engagement Summit (November 4, 5 & 6)
- Customer Engagement Summit (December 1, 2 & 3)
- 2020 Engage Awards (December 3)
You do not need to do anything regarding the change of dates, as we will be in touch in due course.
We are working with our sponsors, partners, and stakeholders to compile important and useful information to help everybody through this tough time.
While this has not been an easy decision, we feel it is the right one in the current environment. Our Live Events are at the core of our business and we deeply value the support of all those involved with them over the last decade.
As we start to look forward to 2021, we will decide which format is appropriate at that time.
Check our websites regularly and follow us on social media for updates. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of all at EBM to thank you for your committed and continued support and look forward to welcoming you at our next live event.
In the meantime, we encourage you to register for and attend one of our upcoming exciting webinars and virtual live events from the comfort of your desk, whether that be in the office or at home.
Warmest regards,
Nicholas Rust – Managing Director

We have therefore made the very difficult decision to cancel the Customer Engagement Transformation Conference (July 9) which will return July 2021, postpone our Employee Engagement Summit (from May 15) to November 9, the 2020 CX Marketing Summit has been cancelled and will return June 2021, and finally the Customer Engagement Summit (from November 9) to October 2.
Rest assured these moves are designed to ensure our leading-edge, world-class business events will be bigger and better than ever.
A number of Digital Virtual Events are being organised throughout the summer period including an exciting series of Digital Roundtable Focus Groups as well as our hugely popular Engage Webinars.
Please note: All other live events including the Internal Communications (September 18) conference is still very much going ahead as planned, as are our 2020 Engage Awards which are open for entries until mid-July with our glittering Awards Ceremony on November 9.
